This video has got to be the most accurate interpretation of the way we all walk around these days – who would have thought a 1960’s Donovan song could be so applicable? I doubt I would buy one of these phones (think Zune) but I did buy Donovan’s greatest hits.

That’s hilarious – just a few days ago I was walking down the street to meet my friend and I found myself keeping my eyes on my phone all the time, looking for directions. And then, the exact same thought popped into my head – what if someday all of us will be walking like this, staring at our phones, blindly trusting their GPS systems rather than our senses? It’s kind of scary if you think about it, the way technology is gaining control of our lives – but when you see it in a commercial like this, it’s like watching a horror film to me. By the way, I don’t get how exactly should the new Microsoft Phone save us from our phones…
I had that exact same thought when I was driving from NYC to Philly. I was blindly following my GPS instructions – never considered looking at a map.
In today’s world all any one’s eyes are focused on is some sort of technology. I completely agree that this commercial hit it dead on.
